I worked with Video Designer Kate Duhamel, to create the animated backdrop for the world premiere of Gemma Bond's ballet "eight/twenty-one/seventeen". It premiered in Sun Valley, Idaho at Ballet Sun Valley's Festival. I animated the designs and then used QLab to map the projections onto the surfaces behind the dancers. For the performance I programmed the animations and ran the projections live.
simple banded gradients were used throughout to give retro and otherworldly vibes to the piece.
